The Falling Walls Foundation invites the next generation of scientists, entrepreneurs, and innovators from around the world to apply for one of over 90 international Falling Walls Labs around the world.
The Falling Walls is an innovative format for highly qualified researchers who want to make a difference. Its mission statement “Share Your Idea!” invites aspiring scientists, entrepreneurs, and innovators from around the world to pitch their research work, social initiatives or business models in front of peers and a distinguished jury from academia and business in 3 minutes each.
The winners of the international Falling Walls Labs win a trip to the Falling Walls Lab Finale in Berlin on 8 November 2019 where the three most intriguing presenters will be awarded the title “Falling Walls Young Innovator of the Year 2019,” receive a cash prize, and get the opportunity to present their idea on the grand stage of the Falling Walls Conference on 9 November 2019. At the Conference, 20 top-class scientists from around the world present their breakthrough research answering the question “Which are the next walls to fall?”
Applications for international Falling Walls Labs can be made via the website: http://www.falling-walls.com/lab/apply. Application deadlines vary depending on location. All Labs will be held in English.
