We open a position for a postdoctoral fellow in the laboratory of Rheumatology at the Medical Faculty of the University of Geneva starting in January 2018.
Our laboratory has a long-standing interest in the biology of the cytokines of the interleukin-1 family in different experimental models of inflammatory diseases.
The research project will be focused on the role of IL-36 and IL-1 in skin inflammation.
The candidate must have a strong background in Immunology, in cell biology and a good experience with genetically modified mouse lines. Previous work on models of skin inflammation and culture of keratinocytes will be an advantage.
The laboratory of Rheumatology is located in the Department of Pathology-Immunology within an excellent research environment.
The postdoctoral position is open for two years. Extension is possible provided future additional funding.
