This full-time position will involve undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the field of immunology, as well as the supervision of Masters' and doctoral theses. The successful candidate will undertake research in the field of immune dysregulation including inflammation, autoimmunity and/or host response to pathogens at the highest national and international levels and secure external funding. He/She will also take on administrative and organizational duties within the Department of Pathology and Immunology and the Faculty of Medicine.
The incumbent is also expected to show the capacity to carry out a transversal mission through strong collaboration with partner services to further enhance translational research.
REQUIREMENTS:
PhD, MD-PhD or equivalent degree.
Previous teaching and independent research experience.
Publications in leading international journals.
STARTING DATE: January 1st, 2022 or according to agreement.
