Brief Project outline
The project examines the ways in which the early European Integration movement was influenced by Cold War strategic considerations, specifically in regards to the development of a common European Security Strategy, and the implementation of that strategy through the US financing of reconstruction and infrastructure projects. More specific information about the project will be provided during the interviews.
The research associate will work within the research project ‘The BENELUX role in the development of a European Security Strategy’ (WEU-ESS). Under the supervision of the Principle Investigator (PI) Dr. Spero S. Z. Paravantis, and unit leader Professor Benoit Majerus, he/she will:
